Ramona Vance (Hunter) Born June 4, 1928 died August 27, 2024 at the age of 96.
Ramona was born in Frontier, Wyoming. She attended schools in Frontier and Kemmerer and graduated from Kemmerer High School.
After graduation, she married George Hunter and had two sons, George and Bill. She worked as a secretary for different companies, including then-lawyer Ed Herschler and KMER radio.
After divorcing in the early ’70s, she moved to Salt Lake City, where she married Carl Vance.
There she worked for various entities, like Grand Central and FB Trucking. She worked for another lawyer, Chris Nelson, up until a couple of months before her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bertha Legarra; her three brothers, John (Sonny), Stan (Chubby) and Bob; and her first husband, George.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; and her sons (and spouses), George (Deanne) and Bill (Mary). She had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
