Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Austin Bluemel received an honorable mention award during a ‘Top Cops’ ceremony last month. He was recognized for a hit-and-run on Interstate 80 that he investigated. During the festivities, Bluemel and others also remembered officers killed in the line of duty, visiting a wall with the names of those officers inscribed upon it.
