KEMMERER — The stage is being set, the bands are getting tuned, and the town of Kemmerer is buzzing with anticipation as the Oyster Ridge Music Festival gears up for its 30th anniversary celebration. What began as a modest gathering of music enthusiasts in 1994 has flourished into a beloved tradition, drawing crowds from near and far to revel in a weekend of live music, community spirit, and festive camaraderie.

A legacy of music and community

“On behalf of the Oyster Ridge Music Festival committee, we are ecstatic to be bringing the 30th anniversary of Oyster Ridge Music Festival to the town of Kemmerer,” said festival president Jonathan Willoughby. “It’s hard to believe we started this in 1994 with a few musicians brought together for their love of music.”

From its humble beginnings, the festival has grown into a cornerstone event for Kemmerer, supported by the generosity of benefactors such as Normandy Digital Marketing Solutions, the City of Kemmerer, and numerous other local entities who have contributed to its success over the years.

A vibrant lineup and festivities

Attendees can expect an unforgettable lineup of musical performances spanning two lively nights, promising something for every musical taste.

“We have a great lineup for both nights that will for sure get everyone out of their seats and having a great time,” Willoughby said. From the opening ceremonies featuring the national anthem on Friday to the band scramble and full day of music on Saturday, the festival promises nonstop entertainment from start to finish.

Friday’s performances will kick off at 2 p.m. with Robin and Dan Kessinger, followed by Liam and Layne Jordan, The Coffis Brothers and The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys. Cousin Curtiss will headline Friday beginning at 9 p.m.

Robin and Dan Kessinger will also kick off Saturday’s live music, this time beginning at noon. They’ll be followed by Jaden Decker, Bark Point, Jordan Matthew Young and Will Evans. Saturday’s headliner, The White Buffalo, is scheduled to take the stage at 9 p.m.

More than music

Beyond the music, festivalgoers can explore a variety of vendors offering delectable food and unique merchandise throughout the weekend. Festival memorabilia, including specially designed t-shirts, will be available for purchase, ensuring attendees can take home a piece of the festival’s vibrant spirit.

Join the Oyster Ridge fun

For those feeling lucky, the festival will host raffle opportunities with significant prizes up for grabs throughout both days. Willoughby said there will be several big raffle items and tickets will be available on Friday and Saturday. Festival headquarters will serve as the hub for all raffle information and ticket sales.

As excitement mounts for this landmark anniversary, organizers extend a warm invitation to all music lovers and community members alike.

“Once again, we are super excited about the 30th anniversary and can’t wait to see everyone out there!” Willoughby said.
