Another busy week for the Kemmerer High School girls’ swimming and diving team is in the books, and while the team is without any new state qualifiers, several swimmers are knocking on the door.

The week began with a dual at Lyman Tuesday, with the Lady Rangers coming out on top, 129.50-102.50. Kemmerer won seven of 12 events — including two relays — and used the dual as a good warmup for Saturday’s Pinedale Invitational.

While team scores for the Pinedale Invite were unavailable, the Lady Rangers swam well against some tough competition.

“Last week was another good week for the Lady Rangers,” said KHS head coach Amanda Aimone. “We started off our competitions with a dual against Lyman where. as a team, we came out on top. We had multiple girls win events, and had a lot of fun. We capped off our week in Pinedale, where the girls had some great competition. No new qualifiers, but a pair of freshmen
