COKEVILLE — The Cokeville Branch Library held its monthly Book Club on Monday, June 24. The featured book for June was “The Sunflower.” A great discussion was held by those in attendance. July’s featured book is “This Tender Land.” Pick up your copy today at the Library.

Jayci Thornock, daughter of Jason and Tracy Thornock, spoke in the Cokeville First and Second Wards on Sunday, June 23, prior to leaving on an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Florida, Tampa Spanish Speaking Mission. Friends and family came to wish her well.

Ammon Halls, son of Nate and Andrea Halls, spoke in the Cokeville First and Second wards on Sunday, June 23, following his recent return from serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Canada, Toronto Mission. Family and friends were there to welcome him home.

Quintan Bird, son of Cameron and Amanda Bird, recently received a call to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Guatemala, Antigua Mission. Quintan will be leaving this fall.

Participants in the summer reading program at the Cokeville Branch Library enjoyed making Nature Necklaces on Monday and Wednesday. This week’s featured movie on Thursday was “Luca.” Special thanks to the ladies at the library for sponsoring these fun activities.
