Mary Lu was born on February 17, 1936, in Kemmerer, and made her childhood home in Frontier, Wyo., with parents Chermo John Lebolo and Josephine Ann (Marchek) Lebolo. She passed peacefully from this life on Dec. 21, 2018, surrounded by her beloved family.

Mary Lu graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1954. On January 30, 1960, she married John Ehrle of Belfield, North Dakota. They made several moves in the early years of their marriage, eventually relocating to Tulsa, Okla., where they ultimately made their home and raised their daughters.

Mary Lu was a wonderful homemaker who took abundant pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was a member of the Holy Family Cathedral. Attending Sunday morning Mass there was the center of her spiritual life, bringing her much comfort and joy. She also worked at the Tulsa Technology Center, taking care of payroll and accounts payable for the school before her retirement in 1994. She and John loved traveling in their RV. She cherished the friends and the memories they made while touring these beautiful United States.

Mary Lu was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosalind Lebolo.

She is survived by her husband John Ehrle, daughters Lori Earl of Enid, Okla.; Sandra Mendonca and her husband, Karl of Hilo, Hawaii; grandson Jason Earl, his wife, Bryttani; great-granddaughter Evelyn; granddaughter Kristina Villalobos and her husband Seth of Enid, Okla.; and grandson Logan Mendonca of Denver, Colo.

A celebration of life memorial service was held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow, Okla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary Lu Ehrle’s name to the American Cancer Society.
