Gilbert Mitchell Frayser departed from this life at his home in Sun City West, Maricopa County, Arizona, on Feb. 20, in the 80th year of his life. As it has been the will of our divine Father to remove from our earthly midst our beloved father and though we deeply realize the loss of one so dear, we should submit to Him to doeth all things well. Though we are left in sorrow here to mourn his untimely death, we have the blessed assurance of his eternal gain.

Gilbert was born on March 31, 1937, in Rosiclare, Illinois.  The Frayser family stayed in Rosiclare until 1942, when the family moved to Salida, Colorado. Gilbert graduated from Salida High School in 1955, and on June 13, 1956, he joined the United States Air Force.

He met his wife (Connie) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and on February 10, 1961, they were united in marriage. Gilbert’s family lived in Kemmerer for many years. After more than 30 years, he retired from the mining industry as a superintendent of maintenance. He was a fifty year Master Mason of Salem Lodge #225 A.F. & A.M. and also a member of the Scottish Rite.
