Darrell Edward Jent III, known to most as DJ, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
DJ was born in Cheyenne, but resided in Wake Forest, North Carolina, where he attended Rolesville High School and was a crew member at Hardee’s in Rolesville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Jent.
He is survived by his father, Darrell E. Jent Jr.; his birthmother, Trasi L. Evans; his brothers, Bobby Jent (Kaitlyn Bass) and Dale Jent; his sisters, Shannon Jent (Cody Casey), Megan Jent, Amber Jent, Emily Jent, Cheyenne Jent and Madelynn Jent; his nephews, Julian Casey, Asher Casey, Emmett Casey, Jackson Bass, Cameron Jent, Oliver Harvey and Braxton Jent; and his grandmothers, Mari Collis and Paulette Parrish.
Bright Funeral Home is serving the Jent family. Services were held on Friday, March 4, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church in Zebulon, North Carolina, followed by burial in the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.
