Three members of the 2023 Kemmerer High School football team were recognized over the weekend by the Wyoming Coaches Association for their outstanding contributions on the football field.
Rangers Owen Barton, Gabe Emery and Graison Kelley were named to the 2A West All-Conference team.

Three members of the 2023 Kemmerer High School football team were recognized over the weekend by the Wyoming Coaches Association for their outstanding contributions on the football field.
Rangers Owen Barton, Gabe Emery and Graison Kelley were named to the 2A West All-Conference team
Owen Barton
Barton finished the season with 68 defensive points, collecting 55 tackles (12 solo), including half a tackle for loss. He averaged 6.9 tackles per game. Barton’s best defensive game of the season came against Lyman on Sept. 29, when he recorded 10.5 tackles, for 21 defensive points.
Gabe Emery
Emery was a player who rarely left the field for the Rangers, making his mark on offense and defense. He was second on the team in rushing, with 251 yards on 64 carries, and two touchdowns.
Defensively, Emery led the team with 114 points, finishing with a team-high 74 tackles (24 solo), two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
Emery’s best defensive game of the season came against Mountain View on Oct.20, when he recorded 8.5 tackles, and recovered a fumble for 22 defensive points.
Graison Kelley
Kelley finished second on the team in defensive points with 99, tallying 69 tackles (19 solo), with 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack.
Kelley averaged 8.6 tackles and 12.3 defensive points per game.
