Briant and Clyde Teichert spoke in the Cokeville First and Second Wards on Sunday, April 21, following their recent return from serving a humanitarian mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines, Cebu Mission. They spoke of the many blessings their family received throughout their 18 months of service. Friends and family greeted the Teicherts, excited to welcome them home.

Jack Dayton, son of Joe and Buffy Dayton, received a call to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California, Riverside Mission. He will begin his service in June.

Isaac Halls, son of Nate and Andrea Halls, received a call to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California, Santa Rosa Mission. He will begin his service in August.

The McPhee Performing Dance Company and students of Whytney Stocking will present a spring recital on Wednesday, May 2, in the Cokeville High School auditorium. This year they will be performing “The Lion King.” This event is open to the public.

Mr. Hatch’s sixth-grade class will present World Day on Thursday, May 2. The public is invited to attend the evening session from 5-6 p.m. Students have been working hard to prepare presentations on their country of choice.

Cokeville High School musicians will be participating in Music Festival Wednesday, April 24, at Star Valley High School. They will be presenting a festival concert the following night, Thursday, April 25, at 7:30, in the CHS auditorium. 

Shaundra and Ryan Smith are the proud parents of a baby boy, born April 9. Jeric Alexander Smith weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 20.25 inches tall. Proud grandparents are Roger and Marti Warner and Lynette and Shawn Smith. Proud great-grandparents are Wayne and Tina Cook.

Trenton and Jenny King are the proud parents of a baby boy, born April 10. Cache Korbin King weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 21 inches. Proud grandparents are Bill and Jamie King and Jim and Michelle Peters. Proud great-grandparents are Joe and Cheryl Buckley and Colleen King.
