Wrestling has had four matches since the start of the new year. They won three out of the four matches.
On Jan. 2, the Rangers took on both Lyman and Bear Lake. Kemmerer scored 42 points against Bear Lake, winning 42-24. The Rangers had a tougher time against Lyman but still won 40-30.
In the matches against Bear Lake, Dylan Hagler, Conner Vickrey, Gabe Emery, Casen Smith, Riggen Walker and AQ Peternal all scored six points for Kemmerer. Bryce Brown and Karl Haslem both scored three points.
Against Lyman, Dylan Hager, Jonathan Platt, Bryce Brown, Gabe Emery and AQ Peternal scored six points for Kemmerer. Riggen Walker scored four points. Karl Haslem and Tyler McKane both scored three points against Lyman.
On Jan. 7, Kemmerer went up against Evanston. The Rangers crushed Evanston 65-18. Brace Vickrey, Conner Vickrey, Zackary Julian, Gabe Emery, Abel Alverado, Riggen Walker, Tyler McKane, Tanner Schramm and AQ Peternal all scored six points for Kemmerer. Ayden Kelly and Casen Smith both scored four points and Karl Haslem scored three points.
On Jan. 9, the winning streak of the year ended against Shoshoni. Even though the Rangers fought hard, Shoshoni won 46-24. Karl Haslem, Mont Halsem, Conner Vickrey and Gabe Emery scored six points for the Rangers.
Kemmerer will go up against Mountain View on Jan. 12 and be at the Thoman duals in Green River on Jan. 15-16.
