The Christmas season was joyfully ushered into the community at the annual Tree Lighting ceremony in Triangle Park. Mayor Thek pushed the switch to turn on the sparkling lights as a caroling group sang Christmas songs. Warmed by a roaring fire, our communities’ little ones waited patiently to see Santa. Pictures with Santa were generously donated by Brenda Beatty. Hot chocolate and cookies were available for all who attended. This traditional seasonal event was sponsored by Frontier Arts Council, KDCA Chamber and Fossil Basin Promotion Board. A good time was had by all!
