Four members of the Kemmerer Ranger 2020 football team – AQ Peternal, Matt McMillan, Zack Julian and Tanner Schramm – attended the Big Horn Basin Football Camp June 29-July 1. The boys received one-on-one instruction from Wyoming high school football coaches and college coaches. Position training and a seven-on-seven competition was held. The Kemmerer boys were on a team with students from Lander and Hannah Elk Mountain. The team made it into the semi-finals, placing fourth out of 12 teams.
AQ Peternal, an upcoming senior, was also able to visit with several college coaches regarding recruitment into their football programs. AQ stated, “We all had a great time and were able to learn and improve on our offensive and defensive skills. I hope in the future, Kemmerer will be able to attend as a team.”
