The “Working Snowman” wins HRC’s winter contest

Posted

Congratulations go out to the McKen family of Afton who built this wonderful “Working Snowman” during one of our recent snowfalls. Their endeavor won them bragging rights as winners of the 2021 Snowman Building Contest sponsored by combined efforts of the South Lincoln Human Resource Confederation and North Lincoln Human Resource Council (HRCs). The rules of the contest were that the snowman had to be a minimum of three-feet tall and performing an act of service, like shoveling snow.

Your Lincoln County Library System librarians were the judges for the event. One librarian was even heard to say, “Isn’t that the cutest Harry Potter you’ve ever seen?”

The Lincoln County HRCs exist to promote cooperation between human services in Lincoln County. Anyone interested in serving, contributing and helping others get the human resources services they need is invited to join the Lincoln County HRCs. If you would like more information please contact Rachelle Points of the South Lincoln County HRC at rpoints@kemmerer.org, or Justin Day of the North Lincoln County HRC at phrc@lcwy.org. They will be happy to provide you information.
