The Bar Fitness open for business

Kelley Billman, Jeffrey Korir, Jenee Rudy and Alec Rudy cut the ribbon to open “The Bar Fitness” Jan. 3, during the open house.

A gym with everything you need and hours that won’t interfere with any of the crazy schedules that we all work in this wonderful community!

Jeffrey was born in Kenya and moved to Kemmerer to take a position at South Lincoln Medical Center (SLMC) in the lab and he is now the lab manager. Kelley was born in Salt Lake City and after growing up in Evanston, she also took a position in the lab here in Kemmerer.

After Jeffrey and Kelley met through work at South Lincoln Medical Center, they saw that the community could use a fitness facility that would be available no matter what time you needed it! With both having a strong interest in health and wellness, they took the leap and decided to open a 24-hour gym.

The Bar Fitness is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! With its wide range of machines, dumbbells, and cardio equipment it is the perfect ally to achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

Jeffrey and Kelley met Alec and Jenee Rudy with J&A Wellness and discovered they had a similar interest in health and wellness. Alec and Jenee have been involved with putting equipment together, moving things around, and promoting. While The Bar Fitness provides the gym, J&A Wellness can provide the motivation and mindset. They can also provide meal plans, and workout plans as well as one-on-one training on every piece of equipment offered at The Bar.

Jeffrey and Kelley plan on upgrading the equipment as they can and also see themselves providing other small communities with similar gyms to provide the joy of a healthy and active lifestyle.
