On Oct. 29, Kemmerer and Sublette County had their last chance meet in order to make it to state. Kemmerer dominated the meet with four first place wins, three second places and seven third places. The Kemmerer swim team will head to the state competition in Laramie on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7.

The results of the last chance meet for the Kemmerer swim team are as follows:

In the 200-yard medley, the Kemmerer team with Amelia Despain, Sophie Failoni, Makenzee Teuscher and Tyler Thatcher placed first with a time of 2:14.64.

In the 200-yard freestyle, Cheyann Roose placed third with a time of 2:31.23. Arianne Dearden placed fifth with a time of 2:34.68.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Tyler Thatcher placed second with a time of 28.42. Kylie Price place third with a time of 28.89. Makenzee Teuscher placed fourth with a time of 29.43. Madi Smith placed seventh with a time of 48.34.

In one-meter diving, Laurel Clarke placed second with a score of 161.30. Sophie Failoni placed third with a score of 130.65.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Nadia Runnion came in first with a time of 1:02.41. Kylie Price placed fourth with a time of 1:07.41. Cheyann Roose placed fifth with a time of 1:08.84. Arianne Dearden placed sixth with a time of 1:09.59. Madi Smith placed eighth with a time of 1:56.09.

In the 500-yard freestyle, Tyler Thatcher place third with a time of 7:18.59.

In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the Kemmerer team with Kylie Price, Arianne Dearden, Cheyann Roose and Madi Smith placed third with a time of 2:22.81.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Nadia Runnion came in first with a time of 1:09.64. Amelia Despain placed second with a time of 1:11.43. Laurel Clark placed third with a time of 1:13.50.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Sophie Failoni came in first with a time of 1:21.77. Amelia Despain placed third with a time 1:23.96.

In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the Kemmerer team with Cheyann Roose, Arianne Dearden, Kylie Price and Nadia Runnion came in first with a time of 4:36.29.
