Taylor Ridgeway has great targeting skills as she plants a pie in the face of Canyon Elementary principal Brad Myers during the Read Across America celebration held last week. Teachers promoted reading by offering raffle tickets for a chance to throw a pie at a teacher of their choice when they completed books from their reading list. Teachers and parents donated pies and whipped cream to support the event.
