Pope Francis calls all Christians to reach out and care for those experiencing poverty.
Receiving and responding to this call, St. Patrick Catholic Church is hosting a community-wide luncheon.
The luncheon will be on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall on 65 McGovern Avenue in Diamondville.
The pope designated the four Sundays in November, and specifically Nov. 19 as a time to encourage communities to come together to assist those less fortunate, to embrace openness and sharing amongst people of all walks of life.
Everyone is welcome to join us for lunch, free of charge and no donations will be accepted. The luncheon will be soup, salad and dessert.
Please come and share a meal with us among friends and family.
