On Saturday, May 6, the South Lincoln Training and Event Center hosted a Mother’s Day Tea and Craft Party. Approximately 40 local moms, grandmas and kids came and enjoyed delicious treats, music, dancing and crafting.
A lot of the tables had unique teacup sets available for use, thanks to generous community members. SLEC staff wishes to thank Irva Johnson, Shauna Zornes and Perspicacity’s Whim for lending teacups — they truly made the event special.

KEMMERER — On Saturday, May 6, the South Lincoln Training and Event Center hosted a Mother’s Day Tea and Craft Party.
Crafts were provided by three local maker businesses: Twin Creek Crafts, Sew Single Mom Designs and Sweet Leaf Apothecary. Wooden mug trays, make-your-own chocolate bars and custom-sewn bookmarks were among the favorites
“South Lincoln Training and Event Center would like to thank everyone who came and made the day a success. We also want to wish all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day,” SLEC events director Trista Gordon wrote in an email to the Gazette.
