Shirley passed away peacefully at Saint Luke Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho, on February 18, 2017, with her daughter Susan Buschauer by her side.

Shirley was born October 29, 1928, the daughter of Elmer Benson Long and Jessie Smith Long, in Dividend, Utah County, Utah.

Shirley married Floyd Carl Eatough on March 27, 1947, in Eureka, Utah. They were blessed with six children, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley’s family was the most important thing in her life. She loved fishing, camping, music, playing pool and painting. She had an obsession with sparkly rings, but we all know that it didn’t matter how much sparkle she wore - it was the real sparkle of her soul that shone through her eyes and personality. She was the life of the party.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Carl Eatough; father Elmer Benson Long; mother Jessie Smith Long; brother Max Long; sister Permelia Marie Long Lewis; brother Billy Dayene Long; daughter Jolean Eatough Meeks; daughter Betty Jean Eatough Jetkoski; son Floyd Karl Eatough; grandson Christopher Michael Jetkoski; great grandson Jaycee Xaviar Lively.

Shirley’s loving survivors include son Larry Eatough of Meadow Vista, Calif., daughter Terry Eatough of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter Susan Marie Buschauer and son-in-law Stevene Buschauer of Twin Falls, Idaho; son-in-law Kenney Reed Meeks of Big Piney; son-in-law Michael Jetkoski of Evanston; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in “Gods Country,” of the mountains of the Wyoming Range. This was the wishes of Shirley and Floyd- they wanted their ashes to be spread together in the area where their passion for the outdoors and fishing was lived out and enjoyed with family and friends. Immediate family will be carrying out their wishes the end of September. Rest In Peace, Together Forever.
