The Kemmerer Rangers volleyball team played in the Riverton tournament on Friday, August 25.
The first game pitted the 2A Kemmerer team against 4A Jackson, and the Rangers won in two sets, 21-9 and 21-16.
The Rangers second match of the day resulted in a loss to 3A Thermopolis, with close scores of 21–15 and 21–19.
For the third game of the day the Rangers lost to 3A Powell in two sets, with scores of 21-19 and 21-14..
The Rangers ended the day with a win against 2A Shoshoni, with scores of 21–10 and 21–18.

The Rangers varsity plays in the Wind River Tournament on Friday, September 1.
Then they play at Lander Valley High School on Tuesday, September 5.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the way the team plays together,” Hartung said. “They have a great bond, and they really support each other.
“We need to work on our communication, but we’re hitting great and playing great defense. We’re really playing Kemmerer volleyball.”
