The wrestling tournament in Kemmerer on Saturday, Dec. 16, was dedicated to Joe Aimone, the late Kemmerer wrestling coach and teacher.

Joe’s widow Barb told some of her husband’s favorite stories of his student athletes — from the foreign exchange student who thought he had signed up for soccer but ended up on the wrestling team, to the wrestler who only won one match his entire career but was supported by the entire team. Barb spoke of Joe’s dedication to his wrestlers as athletes and people.
