Rangers have last chance meet before state in Laramie


On Feb. 11, The Rangers competed with Sublette County in the last chance meet before state on Feb. 19-20.

The team featuring Darren Smith, Brayden Dearden, Camden Killian and Conner Dietrich placed first with a time of 1:55.94 in the 200-yard medley relay.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Aiden Runnion placed first with a time of 22.99. Brayden Dearden placed second with a time of 25.04. Darren Smith placed fourth with a time of 25.74. Camden Killian placed 10th with a time of 27.56. Aaron Despain placed 11th with a time of 28.17.

Aaron Despain came in eighth with a time of 1:06.90 in the 100-yard freestyle.

In the 500-yard freestyle, Camden Killian placed first with a time of 6:06.92.

The team featuring Seth Krell, Aiden Runnion, Brayden Dearden and Aaron Despain placed first with a time of 1:43.59 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Seth Krell placed first with a time of 1:06.11. Darren Smith came second with a time of 1:07.21. Conner Dietrich came third with a time of 1:10.80.

In the 100-yard breaststroke, Aiden Runnion placed first with a time of 1:05.88. Brayden Dearden placed second with a time of 1:08.86. Seth Krell placed third with a time of 1:19.83. Conner Dietrich placed fourth with a time of 1:22.62.

The team featuring Darren Smith, Aiden Runnion, Seth Krell and Conner Dietrich placed first with a time of 4:00.57 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Next, the Kemmerer Rangers will compete at state on Feb. 19-20.
