The Kemmerer Rangers girls swim team was busy last week, with three meets in as many days.

“Having three meets in a row is tough,” said swim coach Amanda Aimone. “The girls handled it well and came out on top of multiple events.”

The Rangers swam well in several events at Rock Springs, Big Piney and Lyman.

“I believe the highlight for last week was freshman diver Sydnie Julander qualifying for state,” Aimone said. “She had three solid meets and just got better every time she got on the board. That makes four girls qualified for the team, and hopefully we gain more as we go on through the season.”

The girls swim team competes in Rawlins on Thursday, Sept. 14 and in Green River on Friday, Sept. 16.
