The winner of the Wyoming Fossils Raffle to help send Savannah Starr to the 8th grade Washington D.C. trip is Shawn Rakowitz of Kemmerer. The raffle sold 300  tickets. There were two prizes the raffle winner could choose from: a quartz crystal or a fossil fish. “I have collected fossils all my life,” Rakowitz said,” So, of course, I picked the fossil.” She plans to hang the piece in her home.
