Kemmerer Lions Club President Mark Quin and Easton Rydstrom picked the winning raffle ticket on Friday, May 4, for the Strike Master Ice Auger. Charles Mathison from Utah was the lucky winner chosen from more than 300 entries. The fundraiser was successful in helping KHS sophomore Rydstrom with money for a service dog for assistance with his Type 1 diabetes. Easton in now on the list for a service dog that will help monitor his condition and alert his family in an emergency. The Kemmerer Lions Club has helped raise nearly $12,000 toward Easton’s project.
