KEMMERER — The Panthers traveled to Kemmerer to face the Rangers on their home turf in a cool night football game under the lights. The Panthers dominated the scoreboard in the first half, up 21-0 at halftime.

Following a roughing the kicker penalty early in the third, the Rangers marched down the field to put 7 on the board. That was all they would get, though, as the Panthers found the end zone one more time, bringing the final score to 28-7 for the Panthers.

The defense forced 6 turnovers: Jack Dayton had 2 interceptions, Brodie Dean had 2 fumble recoveries and Jethro Awtrey and Justin Moyes each had a fumble recovery. Jack Dayton carried the ball 14 times for 149 yards and three touchdowns.

Kayson Walker rushed for 86 yards and Micah Petersen had 70 yards. Brodie Dean also crossed the goal line for a touchdown. The Panthers will host the Buffs of Mountain View for their Homecoming game with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
