Cokeville senior Devan Moody works for a pin against his Evanston opponent at the Bridgerland Invitational last weekend. The Panther wrestlers are in Saratoga this weekend.
The Cokeville Panther wrestling team hosted the Bridgerland Dual Tournament on Friday, Feb. 1. Eight other teams from the surrounding area competed. The teams were divided into two pools and had an opportunity to go head-to-head with each team in their pool. The final dual was against a team from the other pool.
The Panthers had five duals. First the Panthers faced Evanston, then Big Piney, followed by Pinedale and Green River. The final dual for the Panthers was against the Rangers of Kemmerer.
The Panthers finished the day winning three duals and losing two.
There were four Panther wrestlers that won all five of their matches: Ammon Teichert (152), Devan Moody (160), Brayden Johnson (170) and Bentley Johnson (182). Lochlyn Teichert also had a great day with four wins and one loss.
