The Panthers football team traveled to Mountain View on Friday, Sept. 1, for their first regular season game.
This is always a tough match-up for the Panthers on the Buffs’ home field, but the Panthers were up for the challenge as they shut out the Buffs 18–0.
The Panthers were tough on both sides of the ball. Tristan Nate had two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Antheny Petersen had one touchdown and an interception. Rick Nate and Bentley Johnson each chipped in a touchdown for the Panthers.
The Panthers offensive line was successful in opening up holes for the running backs and the defensive linemen kept the Buffs from scoring.
The Cokeville Panthers will host the Pinedale Wranglers on Friday for the Homecoming game at 1:00 p.m.
