Panther boys beat North Gem, fall to Grace team

The Cokeville Panthers boys’ basketball team hosted the Cowboys of North Gem on Thursday, Jan. 10. The game was tight for the first three quarters, but the Panthers were able to pull away in the fourth to take the win, 58–50 for their first home game of the season. Kyle Wayment had 19 points for the Panthers, followed by Matt Thomas with 14 and Hayden Hatch with 13.

The Panthers then traveled to Grace, Idaho on Friday Jan. 11. It was a battle throughout but the Panthers came up short, 41–53. Kyle Wayment had 15 points to lead the Panther scoring. The Panthers will hit the road this week as they travel to Encampment on Friday, Jan. 18,  and Saratoga on Saturday, Jan. 19, for two very important conference games.
