The Panther basketball teams traveled to Mountain View for a tournament on Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9.
Friday the Cokeville boys’ team played the Mountain View Buffs and lost 62–43.
They returned to the tournament on Saturday and defeated the Kemmerer Rangers 62–31, and then also beat the Farson Pronghorns 59–53, to earn a fifth place finish in the tournament.
The Cokeville Panthers will travel to Shoshoni for a tournament on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15 and 16.
The Lady Panthers also played in the Bridger Valley Classic tournament last weekend.
On Friday, the Cokeville Lady Panthers played the Lady Punchers of Big Piney and won 56–36.
On Saturday they faced the Lyman Lady Eagles and lost 45–24. The Lyman girls went on to win the tournament.
For their last match of the tournament, the Lady Panthers faced the Lady Buffs of Mountain View and lost 69–25, earning them fourth place in the tournament.
This week the Lady Panthers will travel to Shoshoni for a tournament on Friday and Saturday.
