Rob Chapin was given the Wyoming Association of Municipalities Community Hero Award at the convention this summer in Gillette.
At the Opal Town Council meeting this month, Opal Mayor Tony Ritzdorf congratulated Rob and gave him a plaque to honor the award.
Rob is deserving of this honor because of his constant support of the town and for the assistance he provides to town staff and residents.
He goes well beyond the expectations of good citizenship. The Town of Opal is a better place because Robert Chapin lives here.
