Matt McMillan is an offensive lineman and defensive linebacker on the Kemmerer football team. This year McMillan was awarded the All-Conference honor for the 2020 football season. All-Conference honors are awarded by the Wyoming Coaches Association. Head coaches in every conference vote on the players to receive All-Conference honors.
“It was well-earned,” McMillan said. “It was a rough season. It wasn’t what we ever wanted but it really pushes people to do their best.”
McMillan said that he would love to play football in college if he is able to make it. His favorite thing about football is the defense aspect.
“I like to go all out and tackle,” McMillan said. “I like being able to compete.”
For McMillan, being a Ranger means never giving up.
“It’s being able to overcome the struggle and still give it your all,” McMillan said.
