Margie Ourada Hollingsworth, age 67, passed away at the home of her nephew in Kemmerer on June 24, 2020. She was born on October 2, 1952, in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Hazel Joe and Margie Mae (Hilliam) Ourada.

Margie married Jerry Hollingsworth in January 1999, and a month after they were married, Jerry passed away. She devoted the rest of her life to being a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Margie spent numerous years working in the dietary department at South Lincoln Medical Center and gained numerous and lasting friendships while she worked there. She was honest, dependable and so kind to those she associated with, whether it was through her employment, or her relationship with her family and friends.

Margie enjoyed spending time being around her family. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time camping, arrowhead hunting, and just being in the outdoors. She was an avid lover of cats and enjoyed having several throughout her life as beloved companions. Margie was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time as a volunteer for the Kemmerer Museum. 

She is survived by her children, a son, Craig M. (Kristie) of Gillette; a daughter, Janice (Jerry) Hager, of Ulysses, Nebraska; and a daughter, Debra M. (Warren) Mitchell, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Tanna, Arlie, Emma, Alice, Jerry Jr., Dakota, and Gage, and a great grandson, Ricky. Margie is also survived by her twin sister, Mary (John) Sawaya, a sister, Bonnie (Lanny) Bettine, and a sister, Judy Ourada, and a brother, Eddie (Marie) Ourada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, whom she loved so much.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jerry Hollingsworth. 

Graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer. At her request, cremation has taken place.
