J. C. Penney Company, Inc. recently honored its top performing stores with the Founder’s Award at a special ceremony held on Thursday, April 5, in Grapevine, Texas.

With more than 870 JCPenney stores across the country, Kemmerer general manager Julianna Skinner was one of more than 90 store leaders recognized for outstanding performance in 2017. Marvin R. Ellison, chairman and chief executive officer; Joe McFarland, executive vice president and chief customer officer; and Tony Hurst, senior vice president of stores, were in attendance to recognize the leaders’ achievements.

“I’m proud of our dedicated associates at JCPenney in Kemmerer who received this special recognition,” Hurst said. “The Founder’s Award is the company’s highest honor, recognizing top-performing leaders that significantly contribute to the success of JCPenney and provide customers with an unmatched shopping experience.
