Dear editor:
I offer my enthusiastic support for Dave Dodson, who is running for U.S. Senate against John Barrasso. I’ve known Dave personally for a quarter of a century — even before David Neeleman approached me to launch JetBlue Airways. I’ve taught entrepreneurship side-by-side with Dave at Stanford; and I’ve served on boards with him as we’ve shared the joy of helping hundreds of young people realize their dream of starting a company.
But my enthusiasm for Dave’s candidacy stems from who he is as a human being. I’ve never worked with a man of greater integrity, better listening skills or a greater capacity for caring. His practical life experience is what Washington DC needs, rather than another career politician.
From our many years working together, I know he speaks respectfully of others, is a great listener, and while he shares Wyoming’s deep conservative values, he wants progress and I have no doubt he will work with Donald Trump, his own party, and the Democrats, to put his duty ahead of self, and his country ahead of everything but America’s God-given first principles. We’re lucky to have a man of such character and vision representing Wyoming.
