The Lady Rangers volleyball team played 3A Mountain View away on Thursday, Sept. 14, and fought hard but lost in 3 games with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.
Kemmerer had a big crowd of fans that showed up in Mountain View to cheer on the Lady Rangers volleyball team, but so did the Lady Buffaloes, and the home team was determined to win.
After the tough loss, the Lady Rangers turned right around to play in the Thermopolis Invitational on Friday, Sept. 15, and Saturday, Sept. 16.
On Saturday, Kemmerer beat Greybull 2–1 with individual set scores of 25-14, 18-25, and 15-13.
The Lady Rangers then lost to the Big Piney Punchers 2–0 with close set scores of 25-19 and 26-24, earning second place in their tournament bracket.

The team plays on Thursday, Sept. 21, against Lyman at 7:00 p.m.
Following the game, the KHS cheerleaders will host a homecoming pep rally for Ranger fans in the gym.
The Lady Rangers will also play at home on Saturday, Sept. 23, against the Pinedale Wranglers at noon.
Kemmerer’s Lady Rangers will have another chance to battle the Mountain View Lady Buffalo, this time at home on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7:00 p.m.
