The Lady Rangers volleyball team started its season on Friday, August 24, at the Riverton tournament.
The team’s first match pitted 2A Kemmerer against 4A Cody. The Lady Rangers lost in two sets, 21-8, 21-7.
Next the Lady Rangers faced 3A Worland, and again lost in two sets, 21-15, 21-13.
Kemmerer fared a little better in their final match on Friday against 2A Shoshoni. The Lady Rangers lost 2-1, with set scores of 18-21, 21-18,15-10.
The team returned to tournament action on Saturday, August 25, and played 3A Lander first. The Lady Rangers lost to Lander 2-0, with set scores of 21-12, 21-19.
The team got their first win of the tournament against 3A Thermopolis on Saturday. The Lady Rangers beat the Lady Bobcats 2-0, with set scores of 21-16, 21-15.
The girls’ last matchup of the tournament was 4A Riverton. The Lady Rangers fought hard but lost 2-1 (21-10, 18-21, 15-9).
