Lady Panthers play in Pinedale tournament

The Cokeville Lady Panthers traveled to Pinedale on Friday, Jan. 5, and Saturday, Jan. 6, for a tournament. Their first game on Friday was against the Lady Rangers of Kemmerer. The Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Rangers 50–13. All eleven Lady Panthers put points up; it was a great team effort.

The girls’ second game of the night was against the Lady Wranglers of Pinedale. The Lady Panthers also defeated the Lady Wranglers 47–35. Kamille Nate led the scoring with 21 points. Lexi Brown had 10 points and five rebounds. Kassidy King had six rebounds for the Lady Panthers. Janae Teichert had five rebounds and eight assists. Janetta also had six assists and six steals.

Their final game of the tournament was on Saturday against the Lady Bears of Bear Lake. Following a tough battle, the Lady Panthers fell to the Lady Bears 34–43. Janetta Teichert had eight points and five steals. Kassidy King had 6 rebounds, Lexi Brown had 5 rebounds and Janae Teichert had 3 assists.

The Lady Panthers will be on the road this week as they travel to Encampment and Saratoga to open conference play.
