The Cokeville Lady Panthers were crowned the 1A state volleyball champions on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Casper Events Center after they defeated the Lady Tigers of Encampment in five close sets.

The Lady Panthers began their quest for the State Title on Thursday, Nov. 2, when they faced the fourthplace team from the East, the Lady Miners of Hanna. They defeated the Lady Miners in three easy sets; 25–5, 25–10 and 25–9. This win advanced Cokeville to the Championship semifinals where they faced the Lady Rattlers of Little Snake River. The Cokeville win clinched a spot in the Title Game for a rematch of the Regional Championship match with the Lady Tigers of Encampment. The Lady Panthers got down early, losing the first two sets: 25–22 and 25–22. The Lady Panthers clawed their way back to win the next three sets 25–17, 25–23 and 17–15.
