These KJSHS students have been fundraising for a filtered water bottle filler since they were in junior high. The students raised the $900 by selling 50/50 raffle tickets at junior high volleyball and basketball games for four years. “I’m proud of them because they set a goal and followed through on it,” said Denise Sargent, junior high student council advisor. Sargent said KJSHS now has the only filtered water bottle filler in the school district.
