Kemmerer Junior Senior High School will host technology and internet safety meetings for students and parents on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
At 2:30 p.m., students will hear from Lincoln County Attorney Spencer Allred and representatives from the FBI in a special student assembly.
The parent information meeting about technology and internet safety will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. that evening in the KJSHS auditorium.
The meetings will focus on educating students and parents about the danger of certain apps and internet sites and how students can be manipulated into providing sensitive information or photos.
Parents will learn about concerns that schools are aware of regarding technology and internet safety.
