On Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, Kenneth Allen Luthy, age 44, passed from this life.

Ken was born in Evanston, Wyo., on February 28, 1974. He graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1992 and then attended the University of Wyoming, where he graduated with a degree in history from the College of Arts and Sciences. He was a member of the SAE fraternity. He also attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

As a true lover of history and politics, Ken was well informed and enjoyed a lively political discussion or debate, no matter the topic. He embraced his strong beliefs and opinions. He was also a connoisseur of good food, good beverages and especially good friends. 

Ken spent many years in real estate and enjoyed being around people and his dog, Tyler. Ken was a caring, thoughtful, and kind man with just a little bit of orneriness. He loved the Texas Hill Country in the spring with all the wildflowers, but his heart was always in Wyoming.

Ken is surived by his parents, Charles Luthy and Sharon Luthy, both of Kemmerer; his sisters, Kate Moody and husband Wes of Hulett, Wyo.; Kim King of Alto, New Mexico; and Kelly Larsen and husband Bryan of Bellingham, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at 11 a.m., at the Berta A. Penney United Memorial Methodist Church in Kemmerer.
