Kemmerer volleyball defeats Wyo. Indian, preps for regionals

The Kemmerer Lady Rangers volleyball team traveled to Wyoming Indian on Friday, Oct. 19, and came away with a victory. Kemmerer swept the match in three games, 27–25, 25–14, 25–20.

The Lady Rangers are at the 2A West regional tournament at Lander this weekend. Kemmerer is the No. 3 seed in the Southwest.

On Friday, Oct. 26, Kemmerer plays No. 2 NW Rocky Mountain at 10:00 a.m. If Kemmerer loses against Rocky Mountain, the Lady Rangers will play the loser of that morning’s Riverside/Shoshoni loser at 4:30 p.m. The loser of that match is out of the tournament and will not advance to the state tournament.

If the Lady Rangers win against Rocky Mountain on Friday morning, they will play the winner of the Riverside/Shoshoni game at 4:30 p.m. in the semi-finals. The winner of that match qualifies for the state tournament.  The games on Saturday, Oct. 27, will be determined by tournament play on Friday.
