The Lady Rangers swim team competed at the Evanston Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 22.
In the 200-yard medley relay, the team of sophomore Sophie Failoni, junior Teryn Thatcher, senior Brooklynn Hagler and senior Alexis Krall finished 6th with a time of 2:11.49. Krall earned 7th place in the 200-yard freestyle race.
Hagler swam to 7th place in the 200-yard IM, earning a state qualification with her time of 2:39.47.
Freshmen Addison Wilcox and Cheyann Roose and sophomore Shelby Swann competed in the 50-yard freestyle.
In the diving event, sophomore Sydnie Julander earned first place, with Clarke coming in 5th place.
Thatcher finished 8th in the 100-yard freestyle, qualifying for state with her time of 1:03.50.

In the 500-yard freestyle race, Hagler came in 8th place, with Krall not far behind in 11th place.
Thatcher picked up a 2nd place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Kemmerer team of Krall, Hagler, Wilcox and Thatcher finished 6th in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
The following Lady Rangers have already qualified for the state meet:
- Sydnie Julander — diving
- Alexis Krall — 100-yard freestyle, 200-freestyle, 500-freestyle
- Brooklynn Hagler — 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM
- Teryn Thatcher — 100-yard breaststroke, 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle
The Lady Ranger swimmers will compete at Big Piney on Thursday, Sept. 27, and at the Pinedale Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29.
