The Kemmerer Ranger senior basketball boys have worked hard this season. They talked with the Gazette about what it means to be a Ranger and what they have enjoyed about their years on the team.
Louis Failoni, Ty Hysell, Corbin Ourada and Brandon Crank are seniors on the Rangers team. All of the senior boys have played for Kemmerer for all four years of high school.
“We’ve learned to never give up,” Hysell said.
The Rangers said one of their favorite basketball memories was beating Shoshoni this season for senior night.
“You can’t let any negative stuff around you get in the way of the team morale,” Crank said.
The boys agreed that being a senior means being a leader.
“You’ve got to stay positive and give constructive criticism,” Failoni said.
“We’re role models to the younger guys on the team,” Ourada said.“It’s been cool to see the younger guys, like the freshmen, grow and get better with us.”
The boys thanked their coaches, family and the community for the support at all their games.
