The cold and wind didn’t stop the Kemmerer golf team from securing a victory last week. The Kemmerer Rangers hosted a spring golf invite on Friday, April 26, at Fossil Island Golf Course. The Rangers competed against Lyman, Pinedale, and the Evanston J.V. team.
The Ranger boys came in first with a score of 373. Lyman was next with 393, Pinedale was third with 399, and the Evanston J.V. team came in at 410.
Kemmerer freshman Blake Wood led the Rangers with a score of 83. Wood came in second place in the boys’ division. Next for the Rangers was senior Rayce Kindschuh with 88. Junior Benjamin Wergin finished with 91.
The Lady Rangers came in first place in the girls’ division with a score of 326. Freshman Olivia Nielson led the Lady Rangers with a score of 104. Junior Charity Chamberlain had 110, and sophomore Kinzee Painter had 112.
