The Kemmerer Rangers’ boys basketball team traveled to Pinedale on Friday, Jan. 12, but lost to the Wranglers 78–47.

“The game with Pinedale on Friday was a step in the right direction,” said Rangers head coach Steve Moyles. “Especially in the second half, we need to work on better ball movement on the offensive side.”

Cole Meeks had 13 rebounds in the Pinedale game. Colter Brunski pulled down five rebounds and had five blocked shots. Brandon Crank had six rebounds and two steals against the Wranglers.

The Kemmerer Rangers hosted the Mountain View Buffalos on Saturday, Jan 13, and the community gathered to support their team. Mountain View came out on top with the win, 69 to 31.

“The Rangers struggled again with a very aggressive half court zone press,” said Rangers head coach Steve Moyles. “This led to an overwhelming amount of turnovers.”
