On Jan. 22, the Kemmerer Rangers headed out to Lyman High School to compete in the boys’ swim meet. The boys competed with the Lyman team as well as the Rock Springs swim team.
In the 200-yard medley relay, Darren Smith, Camden Killian, Connor Dietrich and Aaron Despain came in second with a finishing time of 2:07.37.
In the 200-yard free, Seth Krell finished in third place with a time of 2:08.13.
In the 200-yard IM, Aiden Runnion took first place with a finishing time of 2:21:12.
In the 50-yard free, Darren Smith took fifth place with a time of 26.13.
In the 100-yard fly, Aaron Despain took fifth place with a time of 1:27.41.
In the 100-yard free, Seth Krell took third place with a time of 54.62. Brayden Dearden took fifth with a time of 59.09. Darren Smith finished out sixth with a time of 59.96. Camden Killian finished out seventh with a time of 1:00.66.
In the 500-yard free, Connor Dietrich took fourth place with a time of 6:19.92.
In the 100-yard back, Aiden Runnion took first place with a time of 1:04.21. Brayden Dearden took sixth with a time of 1:11.80. Camden Killian took seventh with a time of 1:11.85.
In the 100-yard breast, Connor Dietrich took second place with a time of 1:19:27. Aaron Despain took seventh with a time of 1:43.87.
In the 400-yard free relay, Darren Smith, Seth Krell, Brayden Dearden and Aiden Runnion took second place with a combined time of 3:52.63.
On Jan. 23, Kemmerer swam against Green River, Evanston and Rock Springs.
In the 200-yard medley relay, the Kemmerer team featuring Seth Krell, Brayden Dearden, Connor Dietrich and Aiden Runnion came in second with a time of 1:50.18.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Connor Dietrich came in eighth with a time of 2:12.34. Darren Smith followed in ninth place with a time of 2:13.26.
In the 50-yard freestyle, Aiden Runnion came in first with a time of 23.42. Camden Killian finished in twelfth place with a time of 27.27.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Seth Krell finished in third place with a time of 1:01.90. Camden Killian finished in eighth place with a time of 1:10.88.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Darren Smith finished in fifth place with a time of 58.95. Brayden Dearden finished in sixth place with a time of 59.10.
In the 500-yard freestyle, Aiden Runnion came out in third place with a time of 5:45.62.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Seth Krell, Brayden Dearden, Connor Dietrich and Camden Killian took fourth place with a time of 1:42.62.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Brayden Dearden took tenth place with a time of 1:12.34.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Seth Krell took third place with a time of 1:10.63. Aaron Despain came in 14th with a time of 1:40.56.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Aiden Runnion, Darren Smith, Camden Killian and Aaron Despain came in sixth with a finishing time of 4:11.32.
Kemmerer finished with a score of 154.5 points.
