The Kemmerer Hotel in the 1940s. The library will host a history night for locals to come together to reminisce about the history of the community. If any local historians or authors are interested in participating, contact the Kemmerer Library.
We are having such a great time in our libraries this summer. If you have not come in to see what is going on in the library, please plan a visit soon. Our Summer Reading Programs are still going on, and there is still time to come join in the fun.
The library is planning another Kemmerer Wyoming History Night. In 2015, the library invited the public and local historians to come together at the library for a night to remember our local history. We had such a great time, and we want to do it again.
We are in the planning stages right now, and would like to invite any local historians or authors who would be interested in participating to contact Renee at the library, 877-6961. We want this to be an informal event where everyone who attends will be able to ask questions, share information and reminisce about the good old days.We will provide more information when we have definite dates and times, so be sure to watch our Facebook page and our website, linclib.org, for more information of this exciting event.
